The Great Football Giveaway & Good For Nothing
The Great Football Giveaway worked with Good For Nothing* over 8 highly prosperous and enjoyable hours on Saturday 4th December 2010.
Here's what the Good For Nothing volunteers came up with in those 8 hours: a pen and paper strategy to target the next generation of The Great Football Giveaway captains, a new tag line for the charity, a very pretty little booklet, a re-edit of the charities existing short film, and all you need to get involved in one place (this blog post place). Plus everyone involved in Good For Nothing's concerted efforts to push as many people here as possible. You can now help to kick start real change today by just spending the next 3 and a bit minutes watching the below video. Then following any of the below 3 actions if you're inspired by the change The Great Football Giveaway is currently making in the world.

It's all going off.....the snow won't stop us!
Quick update from the GFN crew....
It's all due to kick-off tonight at 6pm at Splendid Communications great space at 69-85 Tabernacle Street EC2A 4BD. Look out for a picture our little bird on the door!
The snow hasn't stopped us, it's slowed a few deliveries down but we're pretty much there on everything else with Adnams beer delivered, tea/cake/urn to hack from Yorkshire Tea, Innocent smoothies hopefully on track, Divine chocolate on route and IT support from Correct Group - some lovely and helpful guys who do IT support in London and are coming to keep us on track with everything IT-related

a splendid space for good for nothing
Beyond the day itself and the causes and all the folk coming to Good for Nothing, there's a bunch of other stuff to sort out. The most critical being a space for everyone to play.
We've been spoilt this time by the awesome peeps at Splendid Communications who've kindly given us access to their smashing space in EC1, as well as wifi and stuff, and couple of their team on hand to help out with keeping the event running smoothly.
So big up to them and it's their buzzer you need to look for on the 3rd.
